Dr Malar received her tertiary education, M.D (Hons) from CSMU Ukraine, with IES Certification from London and MBA in Healthcare Management (Hons UTM). She has over 15 years of experience as Medical Doctor in Malaysia at various government and private hospitals.
Coming from a simple family from Kuantan Pahang, Dr Malar calls herself as "anak jati Pahang". Her eloquence in Bahasa Melayu has garnered a lot of attention and praise. Being a mother of two young children, who happens to be a social media influencer too, Dr Malar is very passionate about educating general people about complex medical information in simple laymen’s term.
Her biggest achievement is being honored with NONA Super Woman Health Influencer award in the year 2022, and has also been awarded as “Anugerah Pekerja Cemerlang 2023” by Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
